About Trunkstyle Ltd

Trunkstyle Ltd is based in the UK and is a small family run company, formed in 1982. We work very closely with our suppliers and we like to think that we offer a superior service at a reasonable price.

We are Timber Agents specialising in European Beech, supplying Joinery-Quality Beech to Importers and Merchants, mainly in the UK but also around the world.

We supply mainly full loads, which can be mixed thickness, direct from Europe, and often at short notice. We also have a storage facilities in the UK to hold stocks to top-up our regular customers who may not be able wait for the next delivery from the European Continent, or for those smaller customers not requiring or able to take in full trailer loads. Stocks of European Steamed Beech Lumber are also held in the USA on the West coast.

In September 2003 Trunkstyle Ltd was awarded Chain of Custody certification for both FSC and PEFC. This enables us to offer appropriate stock with CoC certification.

BEECH Joinery Quality European Beech is available in a number of forms; usually Kiln-Dried, in Unsteamed or Steamed, Prime Square-Edged planking, Prime Waney Edged planking, as well as Squares. Other Grades are also available.

Common Thicknesses Supplied: 26/32/38/50/65/80mm and for the US Market 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 7/4, 8/4, 10/4 usually European Steamed Beech, in standard grades, mainly uppers and available in long lengths.

OAK. We can supply traditional oak boules and waney-edged planking, often to a wider specification and quality than is usually available. Occasionally we can offer square-edged usually in thinner sizes. More recently we have sourced a supplier of Oak beams and Oak railway sleepers. We have been able to offer small quantities of 26mm W/E pippy oak, and a character grade S/E as well

BIRCH. We can supply Square-edged Birch from Finland. This is usually a square-edged stuff-over grade and also bung birch, although small quantities of 3 and 4 sides clear are also available from time to time.
